Fortune Cookie Friday 009

If you haven't noticed, there have been no posts this week. That is because we have been installing our new vinyl tile kitchen floor! And guess what, it is finished and it looks awesome. I can not wait to share it with you guys on Monday. If you follow me on SnapChat (@jonesvilleblog) you have seen a sneak peak of it yesterday and I am going to share another one at 7pm tonight! Since the floor is done, all that is left is to put the cabinet doors back on with the hardware. Our plan is to do that today and tomorrow and move in this weekend!

This Inside Out Bedroom has given me some inspiration for the poster bed that we are getting via hand-me-down.  It's not nearly as modern as this black square one. Ours is a dark wood, almost cherry like, with tapering posts on the corners. I'm pinning alot of idea for DIYing a bedframe and headboard but I think we need to get into the house before we start thinking about that.

If you guys don't follow the One Room Challenge, you really should. It's about 20 home bloggers that tackle renovating an entire room in just 6 weeks, and they always turn out beautiful. One of my favorite bloggers, ChirisLovesJulia, is renovating their girls bedroom with built in bunk beds and I can't wait to see the result. Some of the ones I'm most excited for are Driven by Decor, Hunted Interior , Pencil & Paper Co.,  Place of My Taste  (her inspiration picture is below), and of course I have to mention The Makerista because she has a cool style but also because she make me feel good by following me on social media.

I have been pining over these Glacier Duvet and Pillow Cover for a while now. I don't think I could do an entire bedding with that but a nice heavy blanket would be great in a neutral room with white sheets.

I got this 3' x 5' Persian Rug during the Macy's sale the week before last for more than half off. It's gonna go right in front of the kitchen sink on that pretty new vinyl tile. Even though the   5' x 7' is not on sale, it is still beautiful and the 2' x 3'  is on sale for $36(!), that I might pick up just in case.

Don't forget to hop back here on Monday to see the new kitchen floor reveal!
