Fall is here and it is still hot in Georgia, which is pretty typical. All the girls are getting their Pumpkin Spice lattes and getting out their boots. Everyone is putting out their pumpkins, acorns, and leaves. I like Chris Love's Julia's post because she transitions her home into Autumn through subtle and not tacky changes. In her living room below, she changes out some colors, puts out some branches and acorns, and replaces greens with fall foliage. Stuff that feels like fall but doesn't make it tacky. This Apartment Therapy article on Subtle & Sophisticated ways to decorate your front entry is anything but subtle (haha!).
One of the biggest things we came across when we were thinking about how we wanted our house to feel is what color pallet to incorporate. I knew I was looking for a muted neutral palette and gray walls were the best way to incorporate that color scheme. Apartment Therapy's article, "How to Pick a Color Palette to Bring Your Home Together," has a great place for you to start if you're redoing a house or jut want to redesign your own.
Speaking of fall, Mango is one of my new favorite clothing companies. This knit cardigan is under $50 and looks like heaven. To make it even better pair it with this H&M scarf to keep you warm. As my style has evolved, I have found myself more drawn to fall clothing where you can layer.
I can't stop listening to Daya's "Sit Still, Look Pretty."
I'm now on SnapChat!! My username is "jonesvilleblog" since every form of Elizabeth Jones under the sun was taken. You can screen shot the picture below and add me, I'm sure you know how to do it if you've been snapping before me. I haven't snapped anything because honestly I'm trying to figure it out, so leave me comments with tips and advice! Once we get in the house I'm sure I'll have more stuff to post. My plan is for SnapChat to be personal and blog related while our Instagram (@jonesvilleblog) be more curated pictures from the blog.
