Home Bloggers to Follow in 2017

It's that time of the year where we all try to better our lives by getting inspiration from others, at least, that's what I'm doing (ha!). I love following bloggers that inspire me or have the same taste as me because it gets my design juices flowing. Seeing other people conquer big home renovation projects is entertaining! So I thought you might want to know some of my top bloggers, who don't do designing professionally, who I follow so that you can follow them too. To see all the blogs I follow you can go to my Bloglovin page, which by the way, is the easiest way to follow along (shamless plug: you can follow me there too!). A few of these guys I talk about often, like in my One Room Challenge post, and some are new, so be sure to check them all out!

1. Chris Loves Julia

One of my favorite blogging couples, ChrisLovesJulia embodies my favorite home style all while being one of the funniest bloggers I follow. They have a very modern with hints of traditional taste which shines through in their most recent project, the guest room. They also have a podcast that I love listening to every other Monday because Chris and Preston's dry humor reminds me of my witty husband.

2. Young House Love

John and Sherry from YoungHouseLove do not have the same design patronus as we do, but they are really fun to follow. Their aesthetic is colorful, modern, and traditional, did I mention really colorful? Their most recent project is buying a fixer-upper at the beach which I'm sure will turn out whimsical and great, but their neutral kitchen remodel is by far my favorite so fa. I listen to their podcast every Monday on my way to work and they are very entertaining.

3. Yellow Brick Home

Kim and Scott from YellowBrickHome are from Chicago and have a very eclectic and modern style. They are more eclectic than we are, but they always have great DIYs, ideas, and projects going on. Their backyard patio remodel is a really big inspiration for us since our yard has NO grass because there is no sun.

4. House*Tweaking

Dana has a very modern cabin taste and their kitchen renovation is INCREDIBLE. Seriously, they took the entire ceiling off and it is 1 million times bigger, and brighter, and more beautiful.

5. Homey Oh My

Amy has the ultimate monocromatic Scandinavian stlye. Her bedroom seems like a perfect place to spend a lazy Saturday. She great DIY's that I love to follow along with too.

6. Little Green Notebook

Jenny's blog is one I have found more recently and haven't followed for a long time. But her bookshelves make me drool! She has many house projects and each have a different style.

  1. Was taking a break from researching academic writing services and stumbled on this post — and wow, what a refreshing find! Love how these bloggers turn homes into works of art; definitely the design inspiration I didn’t know I needed today.

Their creativity, consistency, and passion make them great sources of motivation for anyone looking to improve their living space. In a similar creative spirit, embroidery digitizing plays an important role in turning artistic concepts into beautifully stitched designs. Just like these bloggers transform homes with inspiration, digitizing transforms artwork into precise and professional embroidery pieces.
