It's hard for me not to apologize for a before picture, because I try to photograph a space exactly as it is the moment I start the project and there is this stigma around interior blogs that everything you post should be beautiful. For this room that meant taking photos of all the extra crap that has been slung in here for 6 months — and that's not pretty, just reality! So no more apologies, here's the space.
One of the biggest thing this room needs is paint. Fresh, white paint. Next a bunch of furniture decisions and styling. I would also like to DIY, or at least find, a roman shade. I have curtains in almost every other room and would like some shades in the house.
Another goal is to reconfigure the closet. Maybe get a system or build something that's a little more high quality than what's in there now.
If you're new I do all my projects in real time and show everything and more on my Instagram (@jonesvilleblog) with the longer posts here on the blog.
Are you participating? I love to follow along with other participants and showing some love so drop your info below and I'll be sure to check yours out!
